On July 29th 2011 i met Andrie Cornwall in Negril, Jamaica, at a party. I was introduced to Andrie by a friend. We spent the rest of the week together and made our relationship official the day i was leaving, 08/03/2011. I've been going back and forth several times to enjoy the company of my now fiance. He proposed to me at Devons House On July 2012 shortly after he picked me up from the airport.

Yes, just keep it to the basics of how, where and when you met face to face within the last 2 years.

I would go with that one

On July 29th 2011 i meet the most amazing person in the world . The man that changed my life and the man i want to spend the rest of my life with . We meet in Negril , Jamaica at a party called Naked . It started with me being grumpy and in pain while my friends enjoyed themselves at the party . I was introduced to him by my friend Trevor Jones but didnt pay my fiance Andrie much mind until later when everyone left me and he decided to be the one to stay and accompany me while im sitting down how i was in so much pain and couldnt walk with the rest of my friends . Thats when i noticed he was a sweetheart .I remember every detail of that day from his purple and white outfit to his smile and piercing eyes that won me over .We than spend the rest of the week together and made our relationship official the day i was leaving back home 08/03/2011. I went to jamaica with my friends single with the intention to party and left taken by my better half Andrie Cornwall .After than ive been going back and forth several times to enjoy the company of my now fiance .He proposed to me at my favorite place that we go to everytime i go to Kingston Jamaica , Devons House On July 2012 shortly after he picked me up from the airport ,It was a great unexpected surprise. Everyday we fall more in love with eachother .I'm tired of saying goodbye to him after every trip .I cant wait to marry him and spend the rest of our lives together and build our family.

They just want to know the date and place of meeting, not the details: if they had to read lengthy life stories (no matter how entertaining some of them may be), it would take even longer than an average of 5 months to adjudicate these petitions. I would suggest 2-3 sentences at the most: facts only

I doesn't need to be a separate letter; just answering the question on the form is appropriate. The size of the box indicates the length of the response....about two sentences. Just when did you meet in person, give place and dates. Your evidence attached will corroborate this info.

There's no rule on length or detail. Put whatever your heart desires. Why post the real names of people though on this forum?

Mine was one sentence too. Got RFE.

Was your RFE for not elaborating on how you met?

This would probably be the amount of info I'd give in a short but precise description. If you have a few pictures(not 50) submit them to support your initial evidence(passport stamps) and your description of meeting. The dates are most important because the support your passport stamps in when you actually met, and that you met within the last 2 years. Pictures tell emotions better than words, even if you're just sitting there smiling in each other's company.

OP, please realise that there is a vast difference between the US Embassy in Denmark versus Jamaica.

Be careful not to give too many details! I remember everything from when my fiance and I met 10 years ago right down to what we were both wearing. My fiance remembers but not in so many details. You don't want the interviewer to ask your already nervous fiance what he was wearing the day you two met and he happens to say green and white rather than purple and white and then your visa is denied. You should use the example given above and submit that. I've seen a few stories where the US citizen gave a lot of detail and the fiance was asked very detailed questions. Most of these cases resulted in denial. Mine was about 3 sentences. It was something like this....

My fiance and I met in February 2002 at my parent's house in (town), Chile. We dated until I returned to New York in March 2002 then reconnected in February 2011 when he sent me a friend request on facebook. We started dating on (date) which lead to my trips to Chile in (dates - 1 month) and (dates - 3 months).

Remember they are asking when you met they don't care about the rest. You don't want to send too much information and it affect his questions in the interview.

Good luck! :)

This is very good advice. Any information you give them can be used in their questioning at the interview. If you give a lot of details and they ask your fiance about those details but he doesn't know or gets it wrong, they may use that to deny the visa because your relationship is not real in their perspective.

This is also a good reason to make a copies of the entire I-129F package you send to the USCIS and give a copy to your fiance(e). They can read through the whole thing and know exactly what was submitted and will be on the desk in front of their interviewer.

You cant speak for who op may get reviewing their file. Like the opinions your getting here. You might get someone who thinks its too much, one if you send something less detailed may think its enough, or someone who thinks its completely ok. Just make sure your fiance remembers these things. I dont see someone denying you for being too detailed, you may get an eye roll or two,but in my opinion your painting the picture of your story.

A few doesn't mean 2. A few is not 50 either. If anything, refer to the embassy interview review section on VJ, or the country portal to give examples on what you mean. Obviously, Denmark is not Jamaica but OP is somewhat new to VJ and might not understand the point of frontloading and in such case, what kind of evidence is needed, and why it's important(or not).

My point wasn't to frontload or not. My point was to make the initial evidence obvious to USCIS.
