Hello,

I'm trying to get some clarification on what type of documents is needed for the I-134 form. Will account statements suffice or do I need to have letters on bank letterhead. I have checking/saving accounts, brokerage account and 401k. Im not sure on how stringent they are on what they will and will not accept.

Any information will be greatly appreciative.

Are you going to use your assets in the bank as your main means of sponsoring? If so then you definetely need the bank letter. However, if your job is well over the income level, the a letter from work, the last few months of pay stubs, your last 3 years tax returns (or transcripts) and you last w-2 will be fine along with serveral of your last bank statements.

I agree with kennard.Your tax transcripts are key. That along with current pay stubs and employment letter should suffice. If you are over the 125% mark that is.
