El Salvador Cost of Medical Exam

Just curious who updates the VJ site on info for the embassy. VJ embassy info says cost of medical is $109 and package 3 that I recieved says it starts at $250 and could go to $600, depending on the type of tests that the doctor decides to do. Anybody else from El Salvador experience this?

Packet 3 Recieved in Calif. October 21, 2006.......Go figure, it was mailed on the 17th of October.

Medical completed Friday, Oct. 27. Instructed by clinic staff to call Embassy (Visas USA) for appointment.

Arrival SFO Dec. 29, 2006

Married Jan. 03, 2007

Someone i know had her medical for K1 visa today and it was around $95. When i called the doc's office last week, they told me to bring $215 extra for vaccines but today the doctor told that person tht the vaccines are not needed for k1 visa. So, the medical in that office was $95, i know in the other doc's office is $116.

Nov 01/06............... Medical @ 8am

Dec 14/06............... My baby got packet 4

Jan 06/07............... We requested our Interview to be scheduled for January 22nd! my baby's bday! and he will be allowed 2b inside with me!! wow!

Jan 22/07............... VISA APPROVED!!! THANK YOU LORD!!!

Jan 29/07............... Went to cargo expresso to get my passport, which means: VISA RECEIVED!!!

Apr 27/07............... Married my one and only at 10;30am

Jul 06/07............... Finally mailed away AOS

Jul 19/07............... Check was cashed

Jul 21/07............... Thanks God we received NOA1

Jul 24/07............... Thanks God we received Biometrics letter

Ag 17/07............... Biometrics @ 12

Digna should be having her medical done today or tomorrow. We are also working thru an attorney down there because I want all the forms filled out correctly and everything to go well. I resent all the notarized forms, I-134, letter of intent, and financial and tax records. The attorney said that Digna could be here in another 4 to 6 weeks........I look forward to returning to El Salvador to pick her up before Christmas. Plus it was interesting that I got sent packet 3.

Good to hear things are finally moving for you guys (i was looking at your timeline). Things are strange, i went with tht other fiancee to get her medical done yesterday and just now i received my packet 3! lol i will get mine some time this week. Good luck in the rest of your journey, I hope you get to spend a cozy xmas with ur hunny :thumbs:
