I'm anti-circumcision, but I wouldn't try and dictate what parents should or shouldn't do.

See how that works? Being against something but not attempting to control someone else's life over it.

I am straight and don't care if gays get married. Never smoked pot but want it legalized, would not want my wife to have an abortion but do not care what you do. I think you should be able to own any fireamr you want, carry it to protect your family. Yada, yada. Where is the disconnect.

Circumcision is a choice for the parents (or an adult) but the information is good to have.

I'm a little skeptical considering the AAP does have a financial incentive to endorse this procedure. It was only a few years ago that they determined it was a medically unnecessary procedure. That prompted some insurance companies to stop covering it. Naturally that lead to less circumcisions being performed. Oops.
