Actually, I have to disagree with your attitude. Why should petitions at CSC be approved in 47 days and petions at VSC must wait 5,6,7 months?

Again, why should you let the success of others cause you misery? Why shouldn't you want EVERYONE to be processed like CSC is being processed? The 2 suggestions are about as equally likely to be implemented, and yet you feel the better solution is to make everybody be as miserable as you, rather than hoping that everybody be as cheerful as CSC filers?

That was my point.

Your point is wrong and selfish.

Simply put... because we all pay the same fee, we should all get the same degree of service.

Agree 100% with both of you!!! No one is asking for CSC to be faster they are just asking for equal wait times. I met someone on vj who filed after me and her estimated NOA2 date is Oct 1st and I couldn't be happier for her but the thing is its not fair. When I first filed my date was 2 weeks after hers because VSC was slow and I thought hey no problem CSC is faster but they are still pretty even. But that is a reasonably slow time. Asking someone to wait 60 or 90 days while others wait 6 or 7 months is ridiculous.

David&Goliath I truly appreciate seeing that someone from CSC understands and shows support. Thank you! :)

I stayed off this website all weekend. The more I observe what is going on concerning vermont the angrier I get. And I am talking ANGRY! Ruin my weekend, want to punch someone, need a drink kind of angry. Not just one drink either.. I'm talking 3 or 4. Please, before you say "YOU ARE A MAY FILER! Relax." try to remember how long we have all been waiting to be with our loved one in general. I can't speak for everyone, but my fiancé and I have been apart for a year and a half. We have seen each other a total of 5 weeks during this time. One trip to America (harassed at POE) .... Another trip to America (denied at POE. Is it his Turkish name? I mean really.) .... and lastly my trip to Europe. Those were the best two weeks of my life, I would give anything to experience it again. Okay now I am tearing up. Here is the email I sent Mr. Obama, maybe a few others might take the same action:

Hello Mr. President. I am writing (and in tears) side note: bring on the drama! concerning the USCIS Vermont office. Vermont's processing dates claim 5 months for I-129F K1 visas, however the patiently waiting public is aware they are going far beyond that 5 month time frame to approve petitions. When inquiring on the matter, the reps explain (and have been for weeks) that they are currently processing petitions from January or early February. California USCIS is moving at a much faster rate, already approving petitions from JUNE for K1 Visas!!! Its very difficult to comprehend why some cases can't be transferred to CSC to help with Vermonts horrible workload. Myself and many others who have connected via the website visajourney.com are very concerned, upset, angry and down right miserable. The CSC filers essentially receive "expedited" service while paying the same monetary fee! It is very financially and emotionally straining waiting for our loved ones to get here, let alone get past the first step!!! I myself have had anxiety/panic attacks and depression due to not being able to see my fiancé in months. Traveling to see each other is just not possible anymore on our budget. We and thousands of others are trying to get our loved ones here the legal and right way. I respect our country and the process to bring a loved one here, however there is just no reason for the time differentials. Can anything be done? We really need your help in this matter. Thank you.

So, long story short.. I am not expecting a reply. Maybe if I called him Barry or sent the email to Kenya I might hear something.

Sorry, trying to make myself laugh. Not working.

Just realized this was in the wrong forum, should be in service centers.. don't know how to move it. My apologies!

Het you do what you need to do. I did a similar type letter but about really the whole process. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/368960-my-immigration-letter-to-the-president/page__hl__dear+mr+president

Funny I wrote it May 20th and was approved 40 days later. I was at CSC 3 months 1 week 5 days. :D

Absolutely....of course. I believe they should be able to equal out the work load between the service centers. The off balance is becoming so ridiculous now. Most petitions at CSC are now being approved between 60 and 90 days, and now I am seeing some come through in less than 60 days.

Simply put... because we all pay the same fee, we should all get the same degree of service.

Yea, all this should work from a main queue and follow a simple rule, no I130 for June should be processed in any service center, if one of the other centers is backed up 2+ months, there should be a off load of applictions to assist, even if its only 50%.

Meaning that wight now CSC should receive 50% of the apps for APRIlL filers for VSC. This would help all times be at around 3-4 months.

Again, this is not a hand out, we all pay the same processing fees, heck some of us even pay more Fed taxes (which im sure in one way or another supports this whole process), we should all be treated equally, no one should have to see a bunch of June applications approved while there are people from Feb/Mar still waiting on VSC.

Who said I was miserable about CSC people being approved faster? The problem is not with the people who file petitions, its with the service centers and the distribution of workload. If you look at ANY of my posts, I am VERY HAPPY and congratulate anyone that gets approved! So please, don't make this topic so childish. Your interpretation of my post is VERY wrong. I understand the centers fluctuate from time to time, but this is ridiculous!

It wouldnt be so bad if you knew you could visit your fiance/husband during the process without worrying if the officer at POE is going to give you hell just because he can!!!!Then deny you entry.

To be kept apart from a loved one for up to a year is just cruel.......yeah,yeah I understand why......doesn't make it any easier on the old heart does it.

:pop:

You had the right idea!! LOL!!

And Henry/Rebecca I hereby exclude you from this conversation! You are CSC and those honest, law abiding people in love that I don't even know who are fortunate enough to get to be with their loved ones earlier than me really make my skin boil! Is that what you'd like to hear?

This is exactly the issue. We know there are ups and downs and swaps but SOMETHING is seriously imbalanced now at 200 days for VCS and less than 60 for CSC. The trends do NOT support the claims that this is normal and certainly not in the two years of data I looked at.

Well, if that is your logic. While you're at it.... Why not bring each service center down to 1 month approvals.

There was a conference where members of both service Centers attended. After this CSC sped up considerably and is still steaming along. Vermont has fallen further behind. Even further than CSC was when they were "behind".
