So Mitt is an average guy after all. On GOP TV, we learned that Ann shops at Costco and Mitt is wearing Costco shirts that he launders and irons himself. For those that believe it, this may make him into the guy next door. But I must wonder why he went out of his way to dis Walmart while trying to connect to the average American. Does Walmart not offer good produce and great shirts? What the ** has Walmart done to him to deserve this?

Ann got that ugly fish shirt at Walmart! They have Guy Harvey shirts coming out of their ears!

But why did the Romneys specifically promote Costco on GOP TV this weekend? Did Costco pay for that endorsement?

I think kennard has the answer!

Romney isn't very smart, that's probably why he did it.

What I take away is that Walmart is beneath the Romneys.

Don't forget Sam's club too. Many things are beneath Romney, apparently. Nascar, plastic raincoats, catfish, the south (he left here before getting results!), dogs, people who don't own 5+ Cadillacs, the sick, retired people, children and adults living in poverty, anyone on welfare, "England" (Britain), London and the olympics. I could go on and on!

Why?

I've never had a single pleasant experience at Walmart. In Canada OR in the US.

The horror stories I've heard from former employees are enough to keep me away from there.

Most people don't have the choice to go anywhere else.

Walmarts do tend to be full of funny looking people but I'm usually happy when they ring me up and the price of my purchases is a little less than I would have expected

Most people don't have the choice to go anywhere else.

And when it gets over 75 degrees, they can't go anywhere at all because they don't have cars and if they try to walk outside the skeeters will eat them alive!

So thank god they can shop online from their iPads.

Oh, and "most people"? :)

Okay. And?

How do "most people" *have* to shop at Walmart? Do "most people" not live near any other stores?

Not that I care where "most people" shop ... I was simply stating why I don't go there.

Has nothing to do with the customers or how they look. I couldn't care less about that. Has everything to do with poor employee treatment, poor customer service, disgusting facilities.
