I-864 questions

I am the petitioner and am living abroad with my husband. My mother is going to be our joint sponsor but we have a few questions.

I-864 Q. 24 part b.

Income you are using from any other person who was counted in your household size, including, in certain conditions, the intending immigrant. (See step-by-step instructions.) Please indicate name, relationship and income.

I cannot find these "step-by-step" instructions to save my life!!! I am assuming that my mother as the joint sponsor doesn't need to include the intending immigrant's (my husband) income, but will I have to on my I-864 form? Also my mother lives with my sister and brother who are working, does she need to include their income as well? I am assuming that as long as she makes 125% over the poverty line herself she doesn't need to include anyone else's income on the form?

I-864 Q.24

D. The persons listed above have completed Form I-864A. I am filing along with this form all necessary Forms I-864A completed by these persons.

E. The person listed above,

does not need to complete Form I-864A because he/she is the intending immigrant and has no accompanying dependents.

I assume these are not relevant if nothing is filled in for part b (above)?

Thanks!

Another question... If don't have any tax returns to send, will this be a problem? I have been a house wife since I met my husband and also out of the country.

You download the I-864 instructions separately from the I-864. Step by step instructions are the second half.

You will not be combining income with your joint sponsor. You and your mother will each provide an I-864. Unless your husband's income will continue from the same source after immigrating to the USA, ignore it. If your mother is combining income with somebody else in her household, like her husband, then it's the head of household that provides the I-864 and the household member the I-864a.
