Do you have your case#? Has your case already left NVC? I know some K1's have been put in AP and it may last days or weeks. You need to verify your case has been sent to embassy. After that no one knows each embassy has their own time table some wait 2 to 4 months before they even get scheduled.

The NVC step (after NOA2, your case is sent to NVC before going to your embassy) takes roughly a week and a month. After that, your question is country-specific and should be answered by members who dealt with the same embassy as you will. Search for recent timelines of those members to have an idea, or look here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?op6=All&op7=United+Arab+Emirates&op1=&op2=&op3=1&op4=1&op5=5%2C6%2C8%2C10%2C11%2C13%2C14%2C15%2C16%2C17%2C18%2C20%2C21%2C22%2C25%2C26%2C27%2C28%2C108%2C110%2C111%2C208%2C210%2C211&cfl=

Looks like it takes at least 3 months after NOA2 to get an interview date.

I advise you to create a timeline so you will contribute to the website by adding your data and so will help members that will come after you and will wonder the same thing. :)

Thank you very much for the quick response. We received a second I-797 sent on 8/13/2012 saying that the petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate. I do not see any listed consulate on the paper. It just has the address of the California Service Center at the bottom. I was wondering if I should call them and ask.

How do I get the case #? I only have a receipt number on the form.

What is an AP?

Thank you everyone for the help!
