Who was the guy in the mirror when Nathan punched it? I couldn't get a good look.

I thought it was him? But all burnt... Maybe not though!

Yeah it was him burnt/disfigured. He also saw him last season, right? I think it was the five years later episode...

I thought the same thing but wasn't sure. I don't remember seeing the image in the last season. It that from the ending when he flew away w/ Peter ?

Now that I think about it, I think it was this season. Clare had called Nathan while he was at some bar and when they hung up, that's when he saw his disfigured face in a mirror.

You know what, you are right. I remember now. And you know what I just realized from the last episode that Charles Deavorox (sp) had powers to see the future. That's why he was able to see Peter on the roof to talk about the explosion.

I've also been thinking about Deveaux's power ever since he was mentioned in the last episode. I don't think that he could see the future (like Mr. Eeesahk ), but he seemed to be able to see alternate realities, such as are created when Hiro and Peter travel through time. Time travel makes my brain hurt!

But you know that everyone seem to have a power b/c of their parents. Why didn't Simone? This is why I like this show b/c it makes you think. I like the challenge.

It seems (in my opinion anyway!) that you have to have BOTH parents with a power to be born with them yourself (both Peter and Nathan's Mum and Dad had powers). Perhaps Simone's mother didn't have any. I may be completely wrong, of course!

Yea and Matt has powers although we dont' know anything about his mom. I'm real interested to find out more about the guy Mohinder works for, he was also in the picture so he should be kill off too.

I don't remember if it was ever mentioned BUT I remember that Dad was frozen solid and Mom was impaled to the banisters with cutlery!

I don't know about that because I don't remember Molly's mom's head being cut open. It seems like it was only her dad so maybe I missed it or she didn't have any powers. (or her powers didn't interest Sylar) Who's got season one on DVD??? Maybe you can go back and watch that episode to see if her mom's head was cut open or not?

I don't know about that because I don't remember Molly's mom's head being cut open. It seems like it was only her dad so maybe I missed it or she didn't have any powers. (or her powers didn't interest Sylar) Who's got season one on DVD??? Maybe you can go back and watch that episode to see if her mom's head was cut open or not?

I'll go back and watch it tonight. But anyway the Heroes Wiki implies that it was only the father that had powers, and that it was never revealed what the power was.

From the Wiki:

In a Q&A session, writers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite were asked whether or not it's a guarantee that powers are passed on, given that both parents are evolved humans. They answered, "In genetics, nothing is guaranteed. A random mix of traits." In another session they said, "We've seen that the existence of powers may be something passed on, but the powers themselves are a crapshoot of sorts. For example, phase-man + strength-girl = talks to machines."
