need info about ds-230

Dear All,

I am a beneficiary do i need to submit all original civil documents along with ds-230 form

because i have one only one set of original copies with me if i send all documents then i don't have original documents with me

Birth certificate

marriage certificate

Police clearance certificate

And also i have one more query i worked in Saudi Arabia for 2 years then i came back from Saudi Arabia & now staying in my home country

kindly suggest me how can i take PCC from Saudi becoz i already left country

Originals are required. Since you only have the one set of the relevant documents in your possession, I would suggest you go to the issuing authority and obtain an original certified copy of the document. The original certified copy is acceptable for submission.

When they say original, they mean the forms need to be original, like the ds230 and the i134 with original signatures. The bc can be a copy, as well as the birth certicicate.keep those originals and take with you to the interview in case they want to see them

All original civil documents along with ds-230 form are REQUIRED.

No exception in this case. You will get back your original doc at the time of interview.

Those documents have to be originals to NVC. Send also a photocopy. They will give the originals back at interview.

You will have to obtain your PCC from them since you lived there the required time.

I would visit the Saudi Arabia website to see how to obtain. It may be a situation where the embassy has to do or something. Just check and also check the Saudi forums to see what others have said and done.

Each or the originals take photocopies yes it all gets submitted with your DS-230 packet. At interview you should receive back the originals (minus the Police report) and they keep photocopies.

For spousal visa cases, intake of civil documentation occurs at the NVC and the NVC does indeed require original documents. Also, the I-134 is not used for a spousal visa case (the I-864 is used).

Procedures for spouse and fiance(e) visas cases are entirely different and not interchangeable.
