There is nothing really you can do; you can provide a flyer/ event listing with him on it, and a short letter saying what you'll show him while he is in the USA and that you will pay for his expenses here, but he is the one who needs to apply for the tourist visa and show funds and ties to home.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

As Penguin gave great advice please also note that getting anyone from Philippines to USA is not easy. My former Pastor tried on different occasions and was rejected. Keep in mind they need money, businesses or property in the Philippines and then it is not enough depending on their Immigration Officer.

While I was working in the Philippines we as a 300 million a year USA based company wanted to send our Quality Manager to USA for training. We/he got turned down for his Visa and he never traveled outside Philippines... Not to discourage you as I hope and pray your Pastor is approved. Just want you to understand it is not an easy process with Filipinos.
