Nope.  US Embassy doesn't care, that is a Philippines thing that you would do if you married in the USA

YMMV

You can get married anywhere you want.

The US doesn't care where you get married in the world and there is no update or reporting process of any kind to any US embassy ever

If you got a K-1 and married in the USA then you would update your marital status at the Embassy of the Philippines.

Your legal name.  If you change your legal name upon marriage then that is the name you will  use

YMMV

No.  After your married you return your marriage license to the local register so it can be processed and recorded at PSA.      And then you start the visa process .. if that is your goal.

You were married in the Philippines .. they don't give you much option there, so pay attention with the marriage license ;)    Traditional Philippine naming format is you take your husband's surname as yours.    In the USA you do as you please ...

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).
