It is a $50 dollar fee in either credit card, cash, or pesos. If I remember correctly only your passport is needed, but you would also have to check for what are the requirements for getting married in that province/locality. Do you know if your going to do a civil wedding or a church wedding?

Sorry for the late reply.I plan on having a church wedding.

Good luck with that. I would really like to hear how that all goes. When we found out all that would be required to have a church wedding we opted for the judge.

Getting everything in order so that you can get a license is not too bad and the only downfall is the 10 working day wait for the license. Like I said earlier make sure she goes in advance to make sure of everything needed by the local registrar.

After that it's just dealing with the church and their policies.

Are you Catholic or is she? You might have time to pull off a Catholic wedding in 21 days

I, personally, am not Catholic. She is though. How long would it actually take to get all the requirements and reservations?

For a Catholic wedding probably 3 weeks and be prepared to convert to Catholicism. The priest where my wife lives wanted me to change from being a Methodist to Catholicism before they would marry us

Here is a website that specifically address the steps to marrying in the PI.  It's a little old but still I think most of the information is still relevant.

The embassy page is pretty good, and if you open the tabs covers the processes for civil vs church wedding.

It does not address the process for getting the marriage license recorded at the LCR and then forwarded to PSA (which takes MONTHS)

For the processing of the affivadit how much does it all cost?

Never saw a fee listed on the USEM website, but it does state all fees are non-refundable.   You do need to make an appointment.

NO.  You will need the CENOMAR

The US could give a ratsass.  The affidavit is only for USCs to give the Philippines Government something in lieu of a CENOMAR.
