Can we apply fiancé visa?

Hi everyone!!! I'm just wondering if my boyfriend can apply for a fiancé visa even our relationship is only 9 mOnths?

As long as you both meet the eligibility requirements (meeting within the last 2 years, both free and able to marry, etc) then yes

Yes you can apply even if you have only been together for nine months. My now husband and I were together only 9 months when we first applied for the K-1 visa. What matters is that you have proof of having met in person within the required period of time and that you have legitimate proof that you guys are maintaining a "real" relationship. Hope this helps out.

Yeah, the requirement is having met once within the last 2 years leading up to filing the petition.

No-go: Couple have known each other for 10 years, met the last time in person 3 years ago. Petition will be denied because they didn't met within the last 2 years.

No-go: Couple have never met in person but known each for xx months/xx years.

Go-go: Couple have known each other for xx months or xx years and have met one time or more within the last 2 years.

Your eligibility isn't based on how long you've known each other but more when the last time you saw each other. Personally, I visited my husband some times before the petition was sent off but had known him less than a year at the time of filing.
