Hello!

I am just getting ready for the interview and have a few questions..

1. What is the best way to present all the paper work? What did you do? Binder? with papers in clear folders?

2. Did you bring originals of proof of ongoing relationship as well as copies? I have both ready since the petition was filed.

3. DS-230 Part II is not need, correct? I realized, I am done my employment at the end of next week, so I should bring a new DS-230 Part I?

4. Should I bring a copy of the entire I-129f package?

Any other tips are appreciated :)

1. Just organize it so you know where things are and you can pull out the right papers as they ask for them. We had our things in several large tan mailing envelopes and marked on the outside what each of them contained, then took the papers out of the envelopes to hand them over. They ask for things individually, not everything at once, so a binder might be more trouble than it's worth.

2. We brought extra evidence (all copies). They didn't ask to see any of it.

3. Don't remember...

4. Just in case, yes.

Is not having the 129F package a serious risk? We somehow managed to miss making copies when we initially sent it off.

Any chance you can duplicate the forms? I didn't make any photocopies either, but had electronic backups of all except the intent-to-marry letters (which we had to re-sign within 30 days of interview anyhow).

My answers to the others mirror alizon's...

FWIW, the binder was actually helpful, as we could flip to whatever document was being requested, and pull it out quickly.

It's probably not a big deal. Assuming things are the same with the K1 as with the CR-1, you would only need that stuff on the off chance that they lost something.

We have to have another updated copy of the intent to marry letters? Because one just wasn't enough I guess. Hopefully I won't forget to put the newly dated ones into the packet!

Yeah I think so! We are just changing the dates on the ones we sent and printing those out and signing them!
