Wow. Why are you being rude? She is having a problem, I'm just adding my two cents. How is there so much harm in that???? How is my sharing my story (which, I thought this is what this website was for) going to affect her case?? I mean, please... tell me.

Unless your story directly relates to the OP's case, telling it simply confuses the issue. However, you didn't just tell your story. You said, "This is what it means." You have NO IDEA whether the OP's case was sent to a local office. Please stop speculating and let the OP answer the question. You MIGHT be right because that's ONE of several possibilities. We need more information, not more speculation.

Hey guys,just found this......

It just says...The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office.

We're presuming Vermont because thats where it was originally sent after filing at the Chicago lockbox.

Harpa......Im as clean as a whistle :innocent:

We recieved a letter saying

On August 21, 2012, we transferred this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you

My husband said it mentions Missouri???? I havent seen anyone else mentioning that,so Im a bit freaked out. I cant find processing times or anything.

HEELLLLLLLP!!!!!!

Sorry, just catching up.

Are you a recent USCitizen (or rather , the Petitioner?) If so, USCIS doesn't know about it,

and

instead of sending stuff off to NVC

sent stuff off to NBC.

or - it's a programming error, and that casefile went WHOOSH to storage.

Call into USCIS on Tuesday, get an ISO

ISO - http://www.dhs.gov/files/publications/gc_1305658440339.shtm

and ask that the casefile be auto-routed , rather auto-re-routed,

into NVC.

Tell the ISO that YOU THINK your casefile has suffered from the change in programming that the Dell Group (Now the SERCO Group) put in place in April of 2012, and your casefile went to the wrong place.

Good Luck ! Let us know the results of the conversation ! Do NOT ask for a SERVICE REQUEST.

Calling an ISO would be good but this is not a case ready for NVC. It was only filed a couple weeks ago.

My husband just received an email that they received our i130. The number starts with MSC so I guess our application will also process in Missouri. How is your application going? Do we need to worry about longer processing times or is it better?

you have to go the the uscis web site to check status area on the left top corner and click on check case status there. you can make a account there too to get updates that are made with them but may not be posted yet. but dont forget your pass code there and all because it will lock you out.
