Hi all,

I have posted before on this forum. I have filed the I-130 for my spouse sent it off a few months agoApril 2012 but we had forgot the biographic forms for each us us so we sent that on . The status online showed we they had received them . All we have filed so far is that I-130 now the status has changed stating that they have sent another request for evidence. In anyones experience here what might they be seeking .

WE sent just the I-130 and the 2 biographic data forms nothing else .Yes we are in the marriage of love :-) so just wondering if any of you all could share your experience for this process . We do have a lawyer but hes just waiting on the response for the I-130 .Also I am not that happy with the lawyer i.e we I filed the I-130 and all correspondence comes to us here at home . SO again any info/help we would be grateful for.. Oh we filed the initial petition April 12th 2012 then I was a LP grreen card holder since June 12th 2012 I am a US citizen and they(USCIS) have upgraded the I-130 to reflect this accordingly

THanks all

Mary J

Have a Great Day,

Regards

Mary

Where is your spouse currently, in the USA or in the home country?

Your lawyer let you send in the petition without bio sheets?

When you say you sent nothing else: no marriage cert, no photos etc?

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I was going to ask the same as Penguin. You sent in the Biographoic you mean the G325A? Did you also incude both of your passport size pics to go with those forms.

The rquired documents are

1. G=325A for both of you

2. 1 passport size photo for each of you

3. Marriage Certificate

4. Birth certificate or passport of the US Citizen

5. Supporting evidence of a Bonafide relationship:

that can include anything that show you are ongoing in your relationship before, during and after the marriage. Photos, emails, IM's, SMS text, letters, gifts, money transfers, Western Union receipts.

So what exactly again dd yoiu send? Thats the only way to maybe guess what they want. But of course you won't know exactly until you get the letter. Seems alot is missing in your packet.

sorry to hear about that, did your hire a immigration lawyer, or just any lawyer, because you should give him all the documrnts and information about you and your spouse then he fells in the spaces you sign it he checks every thing and mails it to the uscis,he don't know what he is doing, no 325a- no passport photos, marriage certificate or divorce if any. proof of relationship no just wait until you receive the RFE see what they are asking for, tell the lawyer he is fired,do all the rest yourself, save your money ask members at vj for help.

With USCIS their RFE's are about required documents. They don't care about all the oter stuff. Maybe a signature or something. Was the US citizens birth certificate or passport submitted? Well all you can do is wait for the RFE letter hopefully it is simple and you can get it off and approved fast.
