Hello Fellow Visajourney users!

I just want to see if you all can help me find out what can possibly be coming up next in my process?

I filed for AOS in July through my US Citizen husband.

I went to my Biometrics appointment today. What can I expect next?

They did not tell me anything regarding my case at the biometrics office.

Just wondering if I will get like a second NOA? What is the next step?

Or How long usually is the wait for whatever is up next?

Thank you all for your time & would appreciate any answers! :)

I don't recall my gal getting a 2nd NOA. However, we checked her case status online just about everyday and eventually learned that her case had been transferred to the CSC, therefore no interview, and about a month later her card was "in production." Again, we learned all of this via the online case status page.

Oh wow, surprising to hear that you didn't have an interview, that's amazing!

And you all had never had an interview with USCIS in the past?

Hopefully I get to experience a somewhat similar situation.

I'm just very anxious for to what's up next! Lol I will be checking my status on the USCIS page frequently.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me! I really appreciate it!

You might want to hold that thought as the CSC is taking forever to process AOS and the local service centers might go faster. I would opt for an interview if it was the difference between getting the GC in say 90 days verses 150 days. We had an interview last May for AOS and that was at the 86 day mark. Things have unfortunately slowed down since then.

Good luck,

Dave

Oh wow! That's unfortunate.

So you get setup your own interview?

As far as I was told after the biometrics I either had to wait for an interview... or something like that... Right?

I am not happy to hear that they are taking a long time, however I'll be happy to stay within a 6 month period. Lol

Thank you for your response!

Sorry Dave I misunderstood your statement earlier. I agree with you, if it requires an interview in order for things to be a little faster that should be fine with me... But who knows how long this will take, I'm not losing hope hopefully it's pretty fast. Thank you for sharing!
