How did you enter the US? If you are unhappy, you are free to go home.

Hi all,

What of the aos interview denied? What will happen? Need some information. Thanks for all your help..

You will get a denial notice and a ntice your wife has to leave the country within 30 days OR file an appeal OR a new I-485 and start over. She stays here if you file either an appeal or I-485, no grren card, no EAD, but she stays.Whatever you do, DO NOT allow her to leave the country, she will not be able to return and you will have to start a CR-1 process

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!

I entered here under j1 visa.. I want to go back home but the thing is I don't know how I'm going to do.. I don't want to mess up my clean record here in u.s.

That's why I'm just waiting for the interview.. If our interview got approved, can I travel immediately outside the US?

I was thinking about to go back in my country just a few months just to have space with my husband..

You can always LEAVE the US. There is nothing stopping you and it will not hurt your clean record. The problem is how to re-enter the US if you leave without the proper documention--i.e. GC or AP. If you leave before the GC or receiving AP you wil be like anybody else from the PI and have to prove strong ties to the PI in order to get a tourist visa. You could also get a spousal visa or should you get a divorce from your current husband, you could try for a fiancee visa. You might want to wait until you get the GC or AP and then go to the PI for a while and see what the future brings. You have the stress of a new country, a new husband, and the whole immigration process. It is not easy. My wife and I have had our troubles during the process, but we are committed to the relationship and each other. It is a shame in today's world that we throw marriages away at the first sign of trouble or conflict. A marriage is WORK and requires BOTH parties to be involved for it to survive. Your age has nothing to do with it. It depends on how you feel about your husband and how he feels about you. Sounds like the two of you need to sit down to dinner and have a nice long heart-to-heart talk about your future.

I wish you well,

Dave

I applied for those two but until now I'm waiting for that.

I'm here at 1 year and 1 month.. We been married just for 4months..

I think you're not adjusted yet of the lifestyle here thats why u felt that way...

and it happened to us to a month after we got married i thought were gonna give up and my option always is to go back to PI but thank GOD were ok now and doing great..

maybe you and your husband need to sit down and talk about it..

just hang in there ok :)

If you're unhappy with things here and you feel like you've given it your all, then go home. If you've got more in you, then stay and find a solution.

Have you talked to your husband about how you're feeling at all?

Thanks all for the advices.. I wish the things will be ok.. I really don't know what to do :(

You may want to wait for your green card so if you decided to come back, you always can. once you leave during this process, it would be very difficult to come back to your spouse when time comes that you want to. Take your time and think about the good and bad things. if you can fix something, fix it. Adjusting in USA takes time and it is very difficult. Think about your future. if you think that you can live without your spouse forever, go ahead and leave but wait for your greencard. But if you have lots of thoughts about leaving him, think a thousand times..

****** Whatever comments i post are based only on what I've done or experienced during this journey. ******

And we should be here to help each other.

Peace out! =)
