Hi Ron,

I posted a little earlier in this feed about my saga so far. I have placed numerous cervice requests, called congessman (actually got approved to be expedited). I called last week and I have emailed a few times.

The last reply from USCIS told me to wait an additional 6 months. At which point I did want to get in my car and drive directly through the front doors of the vermont service center. Meanwhile Joe is losing his marbles in England!

We don't know what else to do.

My basal levelof frustration and irritation is not healthy!!

i will keep you guys updated.

Molly so sorry to hear all this BS with you. I am new here but read in the last 5 months a lady who wanted to sue USCIS and a pretty big discussion was held. If I remember right you can sue them and I am not sure what it is called but the suit is only that the court makes them make a decesion (sp) I don't spell well either! Look thru the threads or maybe some one reading knows what I am talking about. Again good luck, Ron

Hey Ron,

I did inquire about suing the USCIS but apparently it is quite expensive and it can take up to 6 months for them to make a decision.

So for now I am just going to continue to wait and call intermittently to the 1800 number to hear some more people tell me what I already know.

I think the USCIS is by far the biggest bureaucracy on the planet and I am just a gnat trying to get someone's attention.

It is ridiculous.

Molly, I am retired from the Military and the Federal Government (Homeland Security) and I am ashamed of the way you are being treated as well as others. There has to be a fail safe mode somewhere?? I would be calling and writing the congressman who got you the expedite and let him know just how much pull he (doesn't)really have. This will shake a congressman up, and just maybe he will bring thunder down on them this time. I wish you good luck and a speedy approval. Ron

Just sent out letters to one senator, two other congressman, and believe it or not...the president. I am fully aware of how the organizational structure works in the government and state departments...full of their policies and slow procedures....they need to speed it up. At least with K-1 Visas I think.... these visas are more of a serious nature... a person makes a lifelong decision and is required to wait in their home country...under various amounts of stress and struggles... and all this coupled with trying to keep the fire and intimacy alive. I am very proud my fiance is intelligent and somewhat patient (We all want to laugh at the patient part...lol) and we can still have talks, watch movies with each other....but as much as i want to deny it... it kinda gets repetitive...I miss the physical contact..the kiss...the soft hands...and the beautiful eyes staring at me...when i carry her...the piggy back rides up and down 3 floors to her flat....to the bright sweet mornings... filled with tea and partial jokes at each other's laziness to take initiative in the day's goals....and we end up just bumming out the rest of the day. I do internally pray that God makes this road quicker... and thank him for the most amazing human being in my life. (L)
