Mary hilarious!

What is not so hilarious is your 200+ day wait but you are not alone. I filed in November and I am still waiting.

I can't even call the service center because I lose my cool when I tell them I have been waiting for 10 months and there is radio silence on the other end of the phone.

I am beside myself with frustration.

I mean I think all of those people working at the service center should just start processing applications because they are sooo useless doing what they do now! purposeless jobs!

Anyway I hope you hear very soon.

10 months of waiting?oh my gosh im really scared....my husband filed i130 on may 2012,and he is hoping he will get noa2 this september.and you dont even get yours yet,oh boy!what im gonna do if i have to wait that long?i keep telling our three kids that they are gonna see thier daddy soon.we did not see him for 9 months now.

Molly!!! NOVEMBER? Have you reached out to your Senator/Congressman etc. Did they put in a service request for you? I'm so sorry you've been put on the back burner, they owe you an explanation. mad.gif

I know!! November!

So I placed my first service request on May 2nd. Was told to wait 60 days. That was July 2nd. A few days passed and I called and placed another service request because I never heard anything from the first service request. I was told to wait an additional 30 days. Still nothing.

In the mean time I contacted my congressman. They managed to get our application approved to be expedited. So I was really excited. This was middle of July. I then called USCIS to follow up and just inquire as to how much longer it might be since now our application was approved to be expedited.

I managed to get a tier 2 agent on the phone who was sooo rude and said to me, "it just means we are going to process it faster". Genius, thank you.

I then wrote to the VCS email address telling them that it has been ages and I am slowly withering away.

USCIS then sent an email back to me telling to to wait an additional 6 months!!!

mental

So Icalled USCIS a few days ago to ask them what the hell was going on??!! tried to be as polite as possible but that too is getting really difficult.

The operator told me that if that is why the email says then i have to wait 6 months!!

I was like, do you hear what you are saying to me!! I have already waited 10 months and you are asking me towait 6 more?? There was just silence on the end of the line.. then I heard him say, "yes that is what I am saying". I had to hang up the phone because I was going to say something bad!!!

So now I am just like a headless chicken!!

It is beyond ridiculous!!

Thanks so much Vermont Service Center for inducting me into the 200 Club. I'm grateful to VSC who has sat on my petition for 200 days now with not so much as an RFE or an approval. Without their lack of work and lack of dedication I might have been approved on time or even *gasp* early and therefore not have had the pleasure of induction into this club. An honor like this only happens to a few fine people here at Visa Journey, so I realize that having this honor is a once in a lifetime (hopefully) opportunity. I'll await my golden immigration USCIS representative statue that's coming in the mail, complete with royal purple sash that reads "200 club", and letter confirming my lifetime membership and stating that they are still working on my petition and it's on someone's desk.

To all the new folks out there asking...Mary....how do you do it? How did you get to where you are today??!

I'd say...

A lot of hard work on my part kiddies, and absolutely no work on theirs. THAT'S how you get where I am today. Yes, you too CAN be like me if you do everything you were asked, write every Congressperson and Senator in your district, wait patiently, and pay your fee that they gladly cashed 6 1/2 months ago. I'll be here to welcome you when you get inducted.

energy.gif Thanks again, VSC. I'll never forget you.

It's a disgrace. I'm so sorry you haven't been approved yet. Call your congress person for help.

Dear Molly, please share with us what you have done so far to move VCS off their pot? I can not believe that you are so calm. Have you contacted you congressman or senator?? I can not even think how I would be acting if I was in your shoes. They would have to come and bail me out of jail or I think I would be in Vermont. I wish you all the luck. Ron

Hi Ron,

I posted a little earlier in this feed about my saga so far. I have placed numerous cervice requests, called congessman (actually got approved to be expedited). I called last week and I have emailed a few times.

The last reply from USCIS told me to wait an additional 6 months. At which point I did want to get in my car and drive directly through the front doors of the vermont service center. Meanwhile Joe is losing his marbles in England!

We don't know what else to do.

My basal levelof frustration and irritation is not healthy!!

i will keep you guys updated.
