She asked about my birth certificate because i have attestation of birth certificate due to my birth at home. then she took my i94 and and ask for evidences of marriage which i gave. She said she will see if she can get my approve today if everything goes well on her computer and took my passport and put a a note saying that i should not forget to remove conditions after 1 year and 9 month and said after three years then i can qualify for citizenship. Then i asked her if i was approved she said i will receive a decision in the mail if am approved or if they need further documentation from me. Please Help!! What does this mean? Please any body with similar experience, how long do i have to wait? This is nerve racking.

I had an interview after I-360 approved under VAWA, and at interview on 19th July 2012 IO said mines "looked approveable" and the next night, around 9.30pm, I got text message to say check status online, which said Card Production. I got 10 year green card the following Saturday, so from interview to card in hand it was 9 days.

Good luck

They said the same thing to us during our interview. "You'll either get an approval or an RFE within 30 days." It's scary to hear, but really it means they plan on approving you, they are just reviewing the paperwork again. You'll hear something positive soon, I'm sure. :)

Thank you so much DandT14 i really appreciate your words. This whole process have been so stressful and nerve racking because we have a lawyer that is not tat accessible and cooporative. We have already gotten Two RFE's at the initial stage which we have responded before i got my EAD and then interview appointment. SO i don't know what else they will ask again for RFE after interview. I just pray is approval and i have faith in God but as a Human being we can't just helped but worried. Thanks for your input.

I wouldn't worry. I would have expected if there was going to be another RFE, you would have been asked for what was missing at the interview - that's what they did with me, because the doctor missed filling out part of the I-693. Hopefully you have already received your approval email, or will get it on Monday.

Oh, and your lawyer sounds like an incompetent douche laughing.gif

It totally stressed me out, too, then when I got my green card I looked back and realized there was no real reason to be stressed. cool.gif There is no way to not be stressed about it, though, when you are going through it. However, with ROC, I am experiencing no stress - basically, just sitting back and waiting. It does get better. good.gif

You may get RFE after interview.

In fact I have got an RFE a month after the interview.

It seems certain tasks are to be performed within discreet number of days and that's when they may either make a decision or issue an RFE.

As an old saying goes, each case is different so don't overlook the word MAY above.

I-485/I-130 filed: January 26,2012 (130/485 sent to Chicago lockbox, transferred to MSC, field office Baltimore, MD).

I-130 Approved: June 25, 2012

I-485 RFE issued: June 25, 2012

Contacted offices of Honorable Senator Ben Cardin and Barbara Mikulski at the end of July.

I-485 DECISION MADE on August 03, 2012 , LESS THAN A WEEK AFTER CONTACTING THE SENATOR'S OFFICE TO INQUIRE ON CASE STATUS!

I-485 WELCOME NOTICE RECEIVED IN MAIL: 08/08/12

Green Card in Mail: 08/11/12
