Package 3 and 4 NOT received

On July 6, I received a letter from the US Department of State, acknowledging receipt of my approved petition and informing me that the information was being forwarded to the US Embassy in Chile (all normal).

Last week, I started to get very concerned because my fiance had not yet received the packages with instructions on setting up the medical exam, the interview, etc. I emailed the US Embassy in Chile (after making a few calls), and they responded the next day that the packages had been sent and an interview had been scheduled for September 3rd!!

My fiance has still not received any information, instructions, forms, etc. He tried calling the Embassy but wasn't able to get a hold of anyone. He lives 4 hours away from the Embassy so it's not easy to visit. I emailed the Embassy again to inform them of the situation, but is there anything else we can do? Has someone else encountered this problem before (especially anyone from Chile)? I'm concerned that his interview date will arrive and he won't have any of the necessary documents!

You should keep on contact them cause he had to send forms to the embassy before his interview and get his medical test before too, we got our 129F approve on July 13 and on August 13 I got my package 3&4 and my interview is on September 26 and I got my medical done yesterday and the doctors are pretty busy cause the female doctor Gail had an accident and they don't know when she will be back so you can only get an appointment with the doctor Walter.

What I recommend you is to keep calling the embassy and if they don't fix it try with your congress man other wise your fiancé may not be able to attent the interview next September 3.

He was able to get a medical appointment (thank God), so now we're dealing with the forms. I thought that in Chile you took the appropriate forms with you rather than mailing them? Have I been misinformed?

Thank you for your help and good luck to you!

You do have to mail some of them witch are:

DS-230 part one

DS-156 (2 copys)

DS-156K

DS-157 (this one is for the men's)

And you also need to send like an agreement letter sing by your fiancé but that comes with the packet 3, you can get all the forms on line but idk about the agreement I could scan it and send it to your email if you want!

Anything else you just let me know and let's keep in touch!

Good luck with all!

Oh and the letter must have you case number that the embassy assign you and te visa category.
