I do understand having a confidant and the need to vent but some issues are simply private. If you feel your relationship is a fraud then take the steps to resolve your situation. However, intimate details and public insults are just WRONG and there's no reason for that my dear. Besides, you make YOURself look foolish for exposing such deatils because "mad day" has arrived.

You may look foolish for offering unsolicited advice too. Afterall nobody cares what you think. People who want to come here and vent can do it as freely as you can complain about them doing so. Some will agree with your point of view and some with theirs. If you don't like it then don't read those threads, Isn't that easier than telling the whole world to stop writing what they want to???

Well dear, I found my soulmate, fell inlove and got married too. I know for a fact that I didn't marry for immigration benefits.

Where on earth did you find those statistics? The majority would be more than 50%, meaning you claim more than 50% are fraudelent seeking their way to the US?

You have your parents as backup if your petition gets denied, like a plan b on how to stay in the US since you're already aware of the immigration benefits it may grant you? No different than a regular petition, and just like the majority of the ones you just judged. We're all here to find legal ways to be, stay or reunite with our families. Let USCIS/embassies deal with the ones who aren't on VJ or any other forum.

:)

(I'm not offended, it's just hard to state facts in words only without it sounding negative or sarcastic, hence the smiley)

This is what makes this country so wonderful..

there are no qualifications to be married.. anybody can marry,, ( maybe some states require parents approval for minors ) Just the same, we dont have a requirement for inteligence, nor maturity level, education level, wieght, height, how much you can lift, how far you can spit or anything else... Anybody can marry for any reason they want.. They can marry, because they like their BF's car, he can marry because of her booty, shoe style, hair color, or anything that makes them happy.

if they don't happen to think or believe the way I do, that is my problem, not theirs.. Just like the OP, you can't dictate how couples behave, how they interact, what they choose to share, or anything else..

Yes, it can be diferent than how you would behave, never-the-less, they're free to behave anyway they want...

I hope that clears that up for you..

It just makes me laugh when people use them on sites besides Twitter, where it actually means something. Like "I'm so cool, I can hashtag".

I don't mind reading the "excessive" types posts and I actually think venting here can be therapeutic. I don't think we can determine ones maturity from 1,2 or 10 posts.

We are free to write about a broad scope of things here and I think people express that right and that's OK. :)

If something is specifically offensive we are free to report it or ask for it to be removed.

I try hard not to judge, I don't think anyone is without fault.

People watch too many reality shows and think that Jerry Springer is a wonderful therapist.

Personally, it makes me feel a little more sane when I read such hilarious posts. Who cares what they say.

My wonderful red neck cousin has a saying that makes me laugh every time I hear him use it... Goes like this

"If you are gonna be dumb, you better be tough!"rofl.gif

"I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."

I personally think its hilarous... If anyone wants to vent about their man's ####### size please let them. I need all the entertainment I can get. I think a lot of people on here sorry to say arent normal, especially threads of fallin in love and marrying an internet stranger then being extra shocked when they arent getting along and then thats the time they want to consider their significant other is committing fraud. So I think your preaching to the wrong crowd.

Yes, I agree with parts of your statement but I think you're missing my point. Please read my post again. I said "seeking advice or information is NOT the same as "airing your dirty laundry" and I don't think revealing the size of a man's ####### as a result of anger is ever appropriate. Again, I stand by my post "are you mature enough?" I am happy to "agree to disagree."
