Perry wanted it to be a mandatory immunization for girls between 11 and 12 to prevent some types of Cervical Cancer Perry wanted it (believe it or not) and the legislature shot it down.

Women's health yet again... I guess we shouldn't be surprised. :bonk:

I totally agree with the bold part. I have mixed feelings about Obama, he's doing an OK job but what about issues like Guantanmo? It's still open! In the end they're just politicians, they will say anything to get elected. I do much prefer him to the used car salesman though.

That has a lot to do with Congress not wanting to provide other options. There was a lot of back and forth about closing Guantanamo at the beginning of Obama's term, but they eventually gave up as Congress didn't want to play along.

Bloomberg has plenty of ideas on women's health. Remember hiding bottled milk to get women to breast feed...

Give 14 reasons to vote for Obama instead of 14 reasons NOT to vote for Romney. Tell me why we need 4 more years of a guy that cannot fix George Bush's problems that we elected him to fix.

I thought we're looking for someone able to lead. Mitt ain't that guy.

What we're looking for (a socially liberal, fiscally conservative politician) doesn't exist.

Right. But with Mitt you getting the opposite - a fiscally liberal, socially conservative. At least as of now. We should check back tomorrow. Might change again. And again. And again. Ad nauseum.

You have to elect him to find out what he stands for.

Kinda like Pelosi's "we have to pass Obamacare to find out what's in it".

:D

Fair enough. So I take it Republicans will not vote for Mitt since they are fundamentally opposed to this approach. Good stuff.

In a battle of Good vs Evil, Evil always wins. Democrats are too conflicted, everything is a nuanced issue for them. Republicans always vote as one.

What's that, like Jews for Jesus?

These Republicans will vote for the President. If Republicans vote as one as you claim, then it follows that all Republicans will vote for the President. Not looking good for Mitt. These Republicans remember that Mitt urged Obama in 2009 to implement Romneycare nationally. Something that Mitt probably won't allow reporters to ask any questions about but it's there. In writing. For the public eye.

Seriously, I don't understand how anyone can support Mitt's candidacy - he's a joke. And yet he's not even funny.
