Let's just say they find some artifacts that date back to East Africa. Or wherever. They are 30,000 years old. The 1200 page Holy Book has 3 Gods. It answers a lot of life's questions, it is wonderful to copy the values shared in this poetic book, and warns about future false religions and false Gods that will guarantee an eternity in hell if they are practiced.

How do you react? Do you dismiss this as some primitive false religion?

This seems to be the ultimate faith test. It is no different than how you view "Norse Gods", "Aztek Gods", or "Greek Gods".

And we all know that is all mythology. They were very confused and primitive people!

How do you think your religion will stack up in 3000 years? I think it will also join the "mythology" and "fiction" section just like the others. Just as you view older religions, your religion will also be viewed.

I was looking at the Ten Commandants yesterday. The Tenth says in part not to covet your neighbors servants(slave). That never really hit me until yesterday.. The Ten Commandments mention slavery as a very normal practice.. That ain't good.
