I haven't even hit 5 months but it's really pissing me off seeing all these CSC people 'NOA2!!!! APPROVED!!' with a file date of April when they've barely started on Feb!

And the illegal immigrants getting amnesty? Sh!t, had I known that, I would have moved my man over here and had him put in under it.

Yes the ones I laugh about are the CSC from June "Finally Approved! NOA2!".

As for the immigration, your Fiance would have had to enter before age 16, etc..

The immigration change is fair I think for those kids who were brought here without their choice and are living in limbo not knowing anything but America but aren't legal. This at least gives them some legal status and a fork in the road with a timeline on the horizon.

Janet Napolitano doesnt care about anything we are going through. She is one of the main people behind obama's amnesty bill..she is also being sued by immigration agents at the moment due to that ridiculous bill..all she wants is power and more votes for obama so she can keep power..THEY NEED TO TAKE CARE OF US FIRST!! WE ARE DOING THIS PROCESS LEGALLY, NOT ILLEGALLY!! ITS REALLY STARTING TO MAKE ME ANGRY!!!

Mateo, you took the words out of my mouth!

AND i literally had to stay off VJ all weekend because i get so ANGRY when i start looking at my timeline, csc, vermont etc... that nothing will change my attitude. It literally ruins my entire day. And I hate when people say "oh, you can't let it bother you. theres nothing you can do." ranting33va.gif

Finally got a letter from my congresswoman that they have inquired upon my behalf as to why it's taking so long. They will notify me with any response. Maybe they will find a pulse at VSC. I don't think they've approved one in the last five days, have they?

There were four approvals yesterday from what I can see on Igors list.

I am with you all about all the frustrations. Hitting four months with Vermont and knowing we'll have to wait a possible 3 months more is horrible. May approvals are looking to be a long way down the road which is infuriating when CSC are already done and dusted with it.

Hating my current job doesn't help the wait.

Anyways, "this time next year" is my mantra on the bad days.

WE CAN DO IT!!

I like your mantra - keep your chin up!

Heard back from my congresswoman. She (more likely her team or an intern) included a copy of the standard form letter sent back on congressional inquiries. It stated that the 'normal' processing time was 5 months, as stated on the web site. It also said that USCIS allows an additional 30 days time for any unexpected delays that may cause a longer processing time, and to contact them after that point in time. That will be September 9th. It also said at the bottom that VSC is currently not expediting petitions unless they are emergent situations. Since I don't have an emergent situation, all I can do is call back next week.

However, another March filer called after the 180 day mark, only to be told they are working on Feb. 6th, that they were still in normal processing times, and to call back in 30 days. Seriously?

Fighting the urge to go postal..... Vermont isn't that far away.
