So I've been waiting and waiting since April 5, that's the date of my NOA1. Have heard nothing as many of us Haven't. I dont even think a single April Filer has been approved mad.gif

When will I know that we have 5 Months of waiting so i can put in a service request?helpsmilie.gif

USCIS

03/31/2012: I-129F sent to Dallas Lockbox

04/03/2012: I-129F recieved and sent to VSC

04/06/2012: NOA1 text/email.

04/09/2012: Touched.

04/12/2012: NOA1 hardcopy.

09/06/2012: Service request placed- They advised I should hear something by 9/21

09/17/2012: Received letter from USCIS just to be told i'm within' normal processing time bleh.

10/03/2012: NOA2 text received - Best part is it's our 2nd year anniversary!! Great Gift! :)

Sydney Consulate

10/21/2012: Packet 3 Received

11/30/2012: Sent packet 3

12/27/2012: Received packet 4 Interview date :)

01/22/2013: Medical completed

02/05/2013: Interview date status: APPROVED 306 Days!!

02/22/2013: Visa in Hand

02/24/2013: POE- Dallas, TX- then connecting flight home!

Total Time it took to complete our K1 process- 10 months and 3 weeks!!! INSANE! (325 days)

The average time in VSC is around 190 days or so. Hang in there.

I am an April Filer & yes it hurts every time i look at my timeline & it shows that my date has been pushed out by another week. I am leaving for kenya in October but i am so afraid of that fact that he may not be coming back home with me. I have been without him since January & I miss him so much. So I know exactly how you feel. I even sent the President a letter about allocating some of our files to California but i know it will not change anything but it made me feel good that I tried to do something.

Don't you have to wait 6 months before you can do a service request?

I'm an April filer too just about a week and half behind you. We have an April filers thread, and some from CSC have been approved of course. :wacko::whistle: You can try to put that service request in around September 5th or so. You might get something out of them besides the "we are behind by 30 to 45 days", or "we are currently working on Feb. 6". Personally, I wouldn't settle for it if it is past the stated processing time. I am prepared and can accept the wait, but that doesn't mean I won't be hounding them everyday after 5 months. I want real answers. I just have no patience with automated responses.

They won't put one in until you are past the date they have in their computer, which is currently 2/6. blink.gif

They don't care about the 5 month statement, and they won't do a service request based on that argument. Trust me, I've tried. wacko.gif

They are working on February, so it's going to be 6-7 months, unless they speed up. Just brace yourself for that and hopefully it will come quicker for you, because I can tell you I don't wish this wait on ANYONE. It's been horrendous.

We plan on doing the same "hounding" thing after the 5 months have passed, whether it works or not. At least it will make us feel that we're trying something and not passively wait for their action (although we are at their mercy). Plus, it will give us something to do as the wait is terrible.

Janet Napolitano doesnt care about anything we are going through. She is one of the main people behind obama's amnesty bill..she is also being sued by immigration agents at the moment due to that ridiculous bill..all she wants is power and more votes for obama so she can keep power..THEY NEED TO TAKE CARE OF US FIRST!! WE ARE DOING THIS PROCESS LEGALLY, NOT ILLEGALLY!! ITS REALLY STARTING TO MAKE ME ANGRY!!!
