Hold off on the personal attacks against me and the OP,lifejourney. Take it to pm if you need to.

I repeat, all I've asked for is information that is verifiable. If you're going to bring up DNA tests etc that the father might pursue, then back it up with information that he can do so through Jamaican-U.S. courts... That would be useful. How would proving the child is his be useful to his immigrating? He can't use it to get to the U.S. anyways, the child would have to petition IF the child wanted to- after age 21 years. The father can't force the mother to bring it to him in Jamaica via courts.

I truly am curious as to what legal rights he would have from another country, no sarcasm at all here, I think it's an interesting point that wasn't substantiated.

S.

HOLD IT, I have never stated that this father would be using this child for immigration purpose. Jamaican men lay claims to their children, even if they can't even feed them.. They hold to heart a child of theirs is precious, since they relaized that children lives are hard.

Second, I never attached you, it's how YOU read the post.

Third, I am not saying anything to the poster that i wouldn't say to my own sister.

Fourth, yes a court order set forth in a Jamaican court can be brought forth to a US court. The same is vice-versa, a court order set forth in a US court can be brought forth to a Jamaican court.

Fifth, as I stated before the OP can carry-on with her head in the sand, but life has taught me, the un-expected dos always seems to have a way to raise his head.

Sixth, he doesn't need the mother or the child for nother shot at immigration, tourist visit this island on a daily basis. As the saying goes what happens in Jamaica, stays in Jamaica. The OP is just one of many, her relationship could be real.

Power is not in doing something, but knowning that something can happen.

This part of the story everyone seems to have over-looked. It doesn't matter now.

I would ask, where did she met a Kingston man, generally tourists aren't on that side of the island.

That's what i meant.. lol.... i know she did a club in Kingston.. but to me. Story doesn't add up well. Maybe its just me. Who would still try to get a visa after 6-7 times of being denied.... nuh mek sense.

Kristina,

The best advice given here I feel is

1) Focus on you. If you decide that you need more time to know for sure on this man, withdraw the petition and give no reason and let time give you more answers if you need it. If you have reasons to give to Kingston Embassy, report him as fraud and protect those who will come next.

2) 7 tourist visas- I beg to know HOW this man paid for the fees each time? Asking my (Jamaican) husband his first statement was ''well the man must have 3 or 4 or more woman here already supporting him to get here... but won't try to marry him for whatever reason (only applied tourist visa and never K-1 I'm assuming)'' Either that, or he's a rich man? Jamaica (and many other countries) have a very amount of fraud, particularily men making a living off foreign women and eventually making it to their country, maybe four five six women later but they do reach.

3) For your baby, there's nothing wrong with not putting the father's name on the birth certificate. I can speak from personal experience. There's nothing wrong with changing your number and forgetting it all, for the sake of you AND your unborn. The two of you (baby and you) can start fresh with a new life.

I speak from first hand experience and experience that I've seen others go through. Feel free to message me. I hope you find calm in the midst of all the storm.

So when was it decided to let him come on K-1 visa? Knowing he had applied for 6-7 times for visa... wouldn't you think that was suspicious from the get go? Just a lil confused on the story... where did you stay when u were with him etc?

I had started researching the process last year and had decide that it might be an option if we decided to get married. We did talk about him coming to the US i told him to apply for a tourist visa so he could visit and get a 'feel' of it all before we made any decision. That is when he told me that he already applied about 6 times and got denied so he doesn't really want to try again. We talked about it and went ahead and applied and he was denied again, for not enough ties to the country. I stayed in hotels in Kingston.

I did meet him in Kingston at a club. I did not really went there initially for tourist purposes, It was due to my work ( which i wont go into at this time). I assist with international business contracts. One night i just decided to look around the place since it was my first time in Jamaica and i ended up at a club.

What do you mean my story doesn't add up well. I try to read everything and reply to all you guys questions when i get the chance and now you are saying my story doesn't add up well. I try to answer question and i do so truthfully. I really don't know why he applied the other 6 times, I told him to do it the 7th time and I paid for it. The other 6 times where at various different times in his life, he told me most of them was over 5 years ago. I honestly don't know what his motives were back then or who paid for his visas and this point i really don't care about that.

What she is saying, you knew up front that he really wanted to come to the US, by the mere facts that he had previously applied for 6 your +1 visitor visa, before you applied for the K1 application.

As you have added more details, mpieces are being filled in.

No advise on relationship to be given/

You've now answered just fine, IMO. Also, to answer the question in your subject line, all indications are that yes, your fiance is a fraud.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
