Can we email the embassy to ask about our interview date? Or will only NVC know when we get an interview date?

ROC Timeline:

August 22, 2014: Sent I-751

August 25, 2014: NOA1 received

September 5, 2014: Received Biometrics Appointment Letter

September 19, 2014: Biometrics Appointment

As far as I know, NVC schedule the interview dates. You can either have interview in the next month or Oct. Generally it is up to 60 days from the date of case complete at NVC.

I thought the Embassy scheduled the interviews. It's already been a while since my case was completed and from what I see in other timelines of people who have their interview in Peru is that they usually give them their interview in 1 week and a half.
