Something on the list just seems odd: Embassy of the United States of America Consular Section - Immigrant Visa Unit Manila Philippines

On page 6 of the 9 page PDF document is the list of vaccines. The last one is the tricky one.

Mumps

Measles

Rubella

Polio

Tetanus

Diphtheria

PertussisHaemophilus influenzae Type B

Rotavirus

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis B

Meningococcal disease

Varicella

Pneumococcal

Influenza

 Any other vaccinations recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices.

Is the ANY OTHER VACCINES RECOMMENDED BY THE CDC part just there to cover their asses in case the list is not complete? Are there any other vaccines that ARE required that are not listed? Just trying to get a total list because my fiance is freaking out over it.

Don't worry about this so much....I have seen many, many here go to the exam without a vaccination record and they are receiving 4 or 5 vaccinations.

During the vaccination interview, the physician will decide on what vaccines should be given to the applicant. 3-4 shot is usually given here but those shots do not complete the list. Once the medical exam is completed, the applicant will be given list of vaccinations that were given and should be given. you can base the other needed vaccines when required by the USCIS and you can have it in the US.:) If some vaccines were given to you before, bring the record to St. Luke's so that they can include them to the list of vaccines given. Good luck and God bless.:)

Nevermind the Embassy's list. Most people get just a few vaccinations at St. Lukes. Typically, they get MMR, TDap, Varicella, and the flu shot (during flu season). If they get these shots, then they won't need any shots in the U.S.

Civil surgeon did not give my wife any additional shots, just completed the form for AOS and sent us on our way.

St. Luke's must be getting better at keeping plenty of vaccination stock on hand. We were short the TDAP and got that before the AOS interview. The vaccination record form just listed that as "Not Available".
