Well earlier this afternoon Jonah finally had her AOS interview in the Phoenix office. We got there early and were called in at 1:30pm and took the Oath and were swore in and interview started. It goes like this:

Asked Jonah her name,ssn,d.o.b.,place of birth and her parents names.

Asked of me my name,ssn,d.o.b.,place of birth. (No parents names).

She then glanced thru our files and asked Jonah what our home phone number was and how we met, how she gets along with my 2 teenage sons who live with us. She then asked for bank statements and other assests so I showed her vehicle titles,credit cards, insurance and so on. I already had my house back in Texas and also here in Phoenix so no problems there. She then looked thru our wedding album and then said Congratulations we should recieve an approval notice in mail in 7-10 days and a green card in about 2-3 weeks.

Never asked for tax documents or anything else and it lasted all of about 15 minutes, so now we wait for the mail to arrive.

Congratulations! Interesting that she did not grant approval there and then. Hope you get both the approval and the GC soon!

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

01/17/09: Applied for US Passport and passport card

01/28/09: Received US Passport

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Eau_explain she did tell us she was approved but wouldnt receive notification for 7-10 days. I thought maybe they would stamp her passport but the woman says she dont do that. I am just glad it went smooth not to tough at all.

Good news today as the "Welcome to America" letter arrived in the mail after only 5 days from interview. We still unable to check status online as it says no online updates available for the case number but I guess it dont matter.

My interview is in Phoenix on the 20th im nervous..

9-2-05 Sent AOS EAD to Chicago.

9-5-05 BCIS Recived my packet.

9-15-05 BCIS sent NOA I-797c

9-19-05 RECIEVED NOA!!

Waiting for BIOMETRICS APPOINMENT

10-11-05 INS sent Appointment letter

10-15-05 Recieved Appointment NOA.

10-21-05 Appointment date.

10-20-05 Went to ASC for appointment by mistake but they still took my Biometrics.

10-20-05 Biometrics for AOS and EAD were taken.

11-2-05 Got Email from them stating they recieved my RFE

11-17-05 Got an Email that stated that EAD case is approved on 11-16-05, and a notice letter was sent.

11-19-05 EAD in the MAIL RECIEVED.

11-21-05 Went to apply for SSN.

11-25-95 Passed Drivers License Test

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

We received Jonah's Permanent Resident card in the mail today exactly 11 calender days after her AOS interview in Phoenix. We didnt get the stamp at the interview but this is very quick indeed.
