I-130 August 2012 Filers

This thread has become very quiet... have all other August 2012 filers gotten their NOA2 already?

I ask because I'm still waiting for my NOA2 from CSC... (it's been 136 days since my NOA1! )

On the plus side, there's only 17 more days until my petition exceeds CSC's 5 month processing timeframe!

Once that happens, I will finally be eligible to place a USCIS e-Request to jump-start my petition!

August filer filed to Vermont PD 08/28/12 and transferred to NBC the 09/4/12. still waiting on my NAO2. All August filers at the NBC were approved. I don t know what s wrong why mine still not approved

Nope. August filer here who was tranferred to the NBC and local office still waiting on my NOA2...sadly has been 4 months and 3 days now. Thought with being transferred id be approved by now

Thanks for the updates, my fellow remaining August 2012 filers!

Unlike you, my case wasn't transferred to NBC because my NOA1 came before the August 15th cutoff.

I thought all NBC transfers had been processed already (in just 2-3 months! lucky them ) and I was the last one remaining, at the bottom of CSC's pre-cutoff queue.

I pray that we all get approved soon!

Well you may be the one at the bottom of the pre-queue stack at the CSC but im sure im on the shelf at the local office in Atlanta and they just arnt touching any I-130s in Atlanta. Really sucks!

USCIS may give us all a surprise by finishing our cases at the last minute (just before the 5 month deadline).

If not, we can file a USCIS e-Request at that time to get things moving again.

Yes you are absolutely correct about the USCIS e-Request thought Ive been hearing some people are saying USCIS is saying that the deadline is now 6 months and not 5 but they were from the VSC. Lets hope for that last minute surprise! I guess Ill just wait and see what happens in 26 days when its been 5 months since my NOA1. Im hangin' in there but becoming impatiently

same here its been more thn 4 months since we got our noa1 last aug 28, still patiently waiting for our noa2. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless us all and give us enough strength to overcome this journey.

No recent approvals from Aug filers... Thats why we've been soo quiet.. Hearing all those approvals from Sep-Oct filers really breaks my heart.. I hope we all get approved soon..

My NOA1 date is Aug. 7th. I'm still at CSC and have not heard a thing. I called Dec. 7th and they told me to contact them in 2 mo. If I hadn't heard from them. So I think it has moved back to 6 mo. Instead of 5 mo. Processing time

I told here I been transferred to NBC for faster processing but it looks like taking the same time as Vermont. She said you till in the processing time all you have to do is wait and if nothing come up call us again. I think I am going to wait until I get to 5 months and do expedite request. and will see from there.

Yes give it a try and try to ask them why some later months has been approved already before us. ask what the processing time in NBC. good luck.

Hey! Same story here - August 30 filer. Have not heard a peep since they transferred my case to the NBC in early Sept.

Are you calling the main USCIS number or some other number?
