Im so happy for you both!!! I guess I am getting sort of down. I filed on Aug 13th and got my NOA1 on Aug 16th and still haven't heard anything. I know it takes up to 5 months but I guess because Im seeing so many august filers get approved I am getting sort of anxious for mine to get approved, like all other august filers still waiting for their NOA2! lol!

Has anyone called lately and asked about CSC and what dates they are working on? It says somewhere on the visa journey website that they are currently working on August 12th, so I HOPE mine gets done soon. Any word from them at all about the dates?

Sick and tired of waiting!

It's been three months and my touched date is still August 8!!! Gosh. Not very happy about this! Freaking Iran shot at a US drone 16 miles off coast of Kuwait. This happened without anyone knowing. Not Even residents of Kuwait! It's only on the news now after elections are over.

Israel also launched missiles to Syria lately. Guess who's dying to get rid of Israel from the map? Yes. Iran. So sooner or later chaos is gonna break in the Middle East.

We keep getting email from the US embassy warning us to stay away from specified areas on certain dates as there are political protests happening here in Kuwait as well.

It is so stressful knowing that anytime the peace in Kuwait will be taken away. It is still part of the Middle East and is a perfect target given that there are US bases out here.

I hate that we have to wait this long. I know we have 5 months. But I am so tempted to call them and yell at them and tell them how seriously scared we are. :crying:

CSC!!!! Stop putting us in the back burner! We are trying to get in legally, we deserve prioritiisation over the illegals.

Oh how I wish Obama gives us a dream act!

2010 - met in Kuwait and got married at Washington using previous b1/b2 visa.

2010 - back in Kuwait as husband and wife.

2010 - denied to renew tourist visa, lady in the embassy said was not eligible!? Lies! Wth! Traumatized :-/

2012 - applied for tourist visa again, strengthened by the Lord, armed with lots of prayer, got a b1/b2 visa for a year!!! Yey! Christmas here we come!!!

2012 - decided to get ir1/cr1, I-130 started.

2013 - still in ir1/cr1 process.

2013 - EXPECTing our first born !!! <3

Dear Jesus,

Because your awesome and you love us more than we will ever know how to, please bless us and send our visa case to the fastest and bestest worker you got! But nonetheless, let Your will be done not ours. <3

USCIS - NVC

08/03/2012 - I-130 packet received by the Chicago lockbox (sent through FedEx)

That is a good question to ask CSC... My priority date is August 3 and still nothing from them. My last updated date was August 8 and that is it. It has been three months and nothing. We called last month to request for expedition when the Libyan embassy was attacked because a lot of the Muslims here in the Middle East were acting in support of it. The guy on the phone said he will send an email and a letter on instructions how to expedite. We never got an email nor a mail. I will have my husband call them again and ask them what date they are processing so we know we're not like idiots checking the websites all the time. Also, we will try to ask them to email to us the expedited criteria and instructions. It's messed up living in a country knowing that anytime the peace can be taken away here.

Thank you so much ! We are under God grace for now. We can only do so much working on this paperwork. What I cannot do is make CSC do their job any faster for us. Honestly, your right, let us pray and trust that God will do the rest. I can only stress and stressing really does not accomplish anything.

Let's all pray: God please help all of us! Most preferably make it happen before any serious missiles, and nuclear bombs gets thrown around here! :innocent:

Stay safe guys, hope everything works out for you quickly and you can get to the US asap!

just a note on the "illegals" ...

Personally I am trying not to get angry about the DREAM folks, even though the flood of applications may be making stuff slower, a lot of them were in the US almost their whole lives and have been dealing with bureaucratic problems, paperwork, fear and lack of opportunities for that whole time. Let's get angry at a too-slow, inefficient process, not at other people who are suffering just like us!!

So hopefully the DREAMers, and all of us, get good news back as quickly as possible.
