I hope you are next from NYC filers... I am also waiting from Newark office... For Newark - NJ, I see trend of 4 months from actual transfer. I also notice that people are getting RFE from Local offices before they issue approval. not sure if that apply to everyone but seen couple.

Thank you, I wish all the best for you, too  I don't know why it took five months for our case to be transferred, it is ridiculous :bonk: Anyway, I have a tourist visa appointment on Tuesday, maybe I get lucky and get to see my husband after six months... But most probably they will deny it

ok, we just got off the phone with USCIS helpline.

Got transferred to Tier 2 officer as we told them we're military, told her we got transferred to NBC MO, then she checked and told us they're processing JULY 2nd 2012 applications now :wow: . Told us to wait another 30 days before checking again.

Hmmm...

If you can just email it from beneficiary's email account, that's fastest way. No need to attach scanned copy of DS3032 to the email. Also, no need to mail the form if you are doing the email.

How do you email the DS3032, only thing I have for now is just NOA2 and have not received naything after that. Is it something you get online or I have to wait till they send it to my wife?

Anyone got approved today?

we called and talked to a CSR who rambled on about a bunch of options including just AOS-ing as the beneficiary (me) is already in the US. My husband called the CBP and they confirmed that it'd be considered fraudulent so we didn't want to go down that route.

The CSR also told us to call back in 30-60 days, and that they're processing Aug 6 applications now. Blergh.

I would say just wait for the Choice of Address and Agent (DS-3032) form. BUT make sure they have your correct email address!! I just received the COA form in the email. It took them a month. I could have received it a week earlier but they somehow got my email wrong :(

thanks for the reply, how would I know if they have my email address? Do I call the NVC to have them email the packets to me or I wait till they send the DS-3032 to my wife?

Yes, call NVC. They will ask you the applicant name/DOB. Your name/DOB and they will read you your email which they should have on file. In my case they had the wrong email. I don't think they will send anything to you wife. Here is the NVC number (603) 334-0700
