yes my husband received an email yesterday. i was quite amazed with the result when i saw our approval online i was expecting the worst but God is so good. my husband haven't got a hardcopy yet hopefully by monday or so. i wish ol the fellow members waiting on approvl a goodluck. Looking forward to the next steps. Happy new year

08/21/2012: NOA1

8/21/2012 : NOA1 Hardcopy

8/28/2012 : 1-797C Action Transferred to NBC (Assuming sent to Atlanta Local office...but no telling)

O9/4/2012 : Last touched.

2/26/2013 : Infopass with Atlanta (confirmed file is there and no action yet. To be started in March)

03/18/2013 : 2nd Infopass (No review or processing of any stand-alone I-130s for 60-90 days. URGHHHHHHHHHH)

04/6/2013: NOA2 (228 days from NOA1)

NVC

05/10/13 USCIS Atlanta letter to me confirms this date as sent to NVC

05/20/13 NVC Received Case (Waiting on case number)
06/7/2013 NVC case number assinged
06/7/2013 Choice of agent complete now awaiting fees

Gave up tracking when I left overseas...but we are almost done biggrin.png!

Hi, guys,

Congratulaitons to everybody and Happy New Year! I followed this forum since August. I am a late August filer, ercieved my NOA1 on September 15th, but still no NOA2. Hope, it will come soon.

I have couple of questions: what does NOA2 say and what are next steps to be taken? How long does it take for NVC Case no. to be assigned? Where can I find DS3032? What is AOS? Will I need to pay this fee as my husband is in Ukriane and not here? What is IV Bill? What will say that my case is complete? And how long does it take them to assign an interview date?

I'm an August filer too. I filed my USC I-130 for spouse on Aug 2nd 2012 and got my case number "EAC...' on Aug 6th. I got the official NOA1 letter some time in mid Aug. Since then I've been waiting but haven't got my NOA2 yet. My case is sitting in VSC and last night I checked they were processing May 28th 2012 cases as of Nov 30th 2012. So now it has almost been a month and a week not sure what date they might be processing now considering the fact that in December lots of people take holidays..... I pray that all of us Aug 2012 filters get our NOA2s soon :-)

Yeah It took them a month to clear out a week of filers. (may 21 to may 28) However keep your hopes high as some august filers are getting their NO2s.

My wife called again and they said the same old BS. They also said they are busy with july filers now, I guess that's for CSC.

Met : March 2012 in Afghanistan

Married : August 22,2012 in Belgium

Sep 24,2012 - I-130 send to Phoenix Lockbox

Sep 26,2012 - I-130 NOA1

Oct 04,2012 - I-130 case transferred from CSC to NBC Missouri

Oct 10,2012 - I-130 case transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office

Jan 23, 2013 - I-130 approved!!!

Jan 28, 2013 - NVC received case

Only one more day until 5 months of waiting for NOA2 from CSC! :clock:

Then I can hopefully submit an e-Request to get my case looked at. :innocent:

That's what I thought too. You can file a request only if it says 5 months on the waiting time.
