Because some people enter 'Texas Service Center' incorrectly into their 'timelines' such as you have done with your 'profile'. :) The service centers are Vermont and California.

You need to correct your timeline. You have Texas listed. The estimated date is coming from the statistics of other members. In this case, members whom incorrectly put in Texas as well. This is unfortunate because so many members have done this, and this leads to a less valid projection for everyone that puts in Vermont and California. If you have your first Notice of Action, it will list where it went: Vermont or California.

I did thanks, Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between November 12, 2012 and November 17, 2012*. i went back :((

You're welcome. Yes, Vermont is a bit slow these days. 6.5 months seems to be more of their average, but this can always change.

This confusion comes from the Dallas,TX address used to file a petition. In the past, K-1 petitions were filed directly with either service center, but now they are forwarded. Texas does not process K-1 petitions.

It is my understanding that there is in fact a Texas Service Center

And from what I see on Igors List Texas is currently approving April & May Filers

These are timelines filled incorrectly. Texas doesn't service I-129F.

There is a Texas Service Center, yes, but that place DOESN'T process I-129F petitions. Members on VJ put incorrectly TSC as their service Center because they think their case is there since they sent their petition to the Texas lockbox (as everybody here). The Texas lockbox is a sorting facility that then forward petitions to either California or Vermont. To be short, Texas lockbox is a different place than Texas Service Center.

Igor's list depends on what VJ members put in their timeline. Stats that you see on Igor's list for TSC are wrong, and are a mix-up between data of people that are in fact either in California or Vermont.

I stand corrected

And also good to know there are not 2 Service Centers twice as fast as Vermont! lol

I will assume the K-1 visa's that show on Texas Service Center as being approved are in fact being approved at the California Service Center?

Currently Approving Apr/May and even June filers? Correct?

I myself look for a Jan 2013 NOA2

If it comes sooner even better

I suspect Nov will begin to see June filers on Igor's List

Last year this time It was California crying! lol

Yeah, more than likely they were CSC if they are recent and getting approved at or under 5 months. I checked some of those people's timelines and profiles. Many put the correct service center in there profile but put Texas in the timeline. I do remember CSC falling behind even at the beginning of the year. It does tend to wax and wane so I'm not too concerned other than just wanting to be with my love. I was originally expecting NOA2 around mid-September, but I guess I will be fortunate if I get it by October. Who knows? Much could change in the span of even a month.

They constantly switch. One is always faster than the other. Vermont has more states to process than California, including large states like Florida, New York and Texas. This tends to make it slower.

Hang in there, it will be over before you know it. :)
