Hello everyone,

I've been following the forums on this website for quite some time now. I filed my N-400 in the beginning of the month. I got my fingerprint notice on 8/20, the appointment is for 9/13, but I did a walk-in at the West Palm Beach office yesterday. It was no issue, apart from a 2-hour wait. So in case anyone in this area wondering whether or not that office takes walk-ins, yes they do :-)!

Quick question, how long does it usually take to receive an interview date/notice after the fingerprints have been done?

Also, the office is fresh out of study guides for the test, good thing my B.A. is in U.S. History :-)

Forget everything you were taught - the test questions are from the Mickey Mouse School of American History.

Thanks... average looks to be 5 months, same as the DO's processing time as specified by the USCIS. Looks like they are right on the money. I spoke to an immigration attorney down in Miami, and she said that since it is election year, they try to process these things as fast as they can. Several of her clients took less than 3 months. Anybody else get a similar story from an immi attorney or otherwise QUALIFIED source?

You mean to tell me I wasted thousands of $$$ on a higher education when I could've just called Micky and asked him a couple of questions about the American Revolution and the three branches of government ;-)?
