If Isaac comes this way, Florida and the gulf coast won't be getting any help from the RNC. Maybe they should relocate the convention to West Virginia!

Right now, we're almost in the clear - the hurricane will be about 100 miles off the coast. That would make for a bit of rain and some wind gusts but not much more. If it shifts 50 miles west, we're golden, if it shifts 50 miles east, it's gonna be ugly. So, we'll see. Gotta let it get past Cuba and then we'll know better. Not in panic mode just yet.

Hmmm....so, what happens to the mix if the Republicans have their convention after the Democrats this time?

Maybe they should move it to New Orleans... Democrat Mayors and Governors don't have any problems not evacuating. Just hold the convention anyway and as the potential evacuation buses float by, BLAME BUSH.
