hey I am dental surgeon with a 3 year of experience as a dental surgeon in india. I am moving to NJ in few months what are the job probabilities for me to work there.....in NJ

Unless you have a US dental license you won't be able to practice dentistry here. To get a US dental license you will need to go to a US dental school for 2 to 4 years depending on the school and if you have taken and passed part one and part two of the US national boards. I know a few other foreign trained dentists that have been able to get a dental hygiene license without too much difficulty, depending on the state. It is a place to start.

dental school in the US is a minimum of 4 years in the US, not 2. To be a dentist here, you do not need to have graduated from a US dental school, you have to have gone to an accredited dental school, no matter the country. There are many dentists in this country who have not gone to school here in the US. But there is the issue of being licensed. The OP can go to this site and get info about licensing and the board testing in this country http://www.ada.org/ , click the contact us link on the top right and someone will reply to you. As a dental hygienist myself I can say with 100% certainty you cannot under any circumstances get job in this field without being licensed. Like a dentist there is a board certified licensing test you must take for hygiene. It isn't like you apply for a job as a hygienist and just get it because you happen to be a dentist in another country. To be a hygienist it is minimum associates degree, most have bachelors, being a dentist doesn't get you a job as a hygienist.. Even chair side dental assistants need to be certified and licensed.

Yes, dental school is 4 years, but for a foreign trained dentist it will take an additional 2 to 4 years of school to get licensed.

The only accredited programs I know of outside of the US would be in Canada, and I am not sure of the details on those. If a foreign trained dentist does not complete additional education at a US dental school and pass the national boards they will not be eligible for a license in all states that I know of.

Dentist from India to find jobs in US

How many jobs in the US do you need?

There are many pharmacerias in NJ that won't worry about licensing, only your fees. Best to learn spanish and russian, though.

Congratulations on your marriage to a USCitizen Spouse !! I pray she's already researched exactly what you need to do to become certified in the USA to work as a dental surgeon.

Oh.. wait..
