Still no case at NVC

This is especially frustrating. It's will have been five weeks this Thursday and NVC is telling me the same load of #######. At first it was two to four weeks...now that I'm over four weeks, they go to the 90-day card. How can some already have their cases shipped to the embassy with October dates and mine isn't even entered into their damn system? This is insane. You have no recourse either...

We are in the same boat. I haven't called yet today though, gonna call in about 10 minutes on my lunch break. It is VERY frustrating to see people with approval dates after us already having their cases sent to the embassy....

Hi MRC!!

Well, I don't know if this can be helpful, but here it is.

Have you tried to track how many process NVC sent to your love's Embassy the week you were approved it?

Well... try to track, use dates by your NOA2's date... Who knows? I think you at least could have one idea...

mrc,

I agree with you, if October cases are already being processed, yours should have been also.

That 90 day ####### is just to get you off the phone. Keep calling.

My case left the CSC on 10-13-06 for the NVC, and I still don't have an NVC number yet, but I am giving it a week though the NVC does the K-1 processing really fast once they get to your case and gets out the door to your US Embassy.

I am not sure when my case got to the NVC last week.

I only got that information because of some computer glitch with the USCIS online check status page on Thursday of last week

What happened was I got five strange emails from the USCIS so I went to the website, and typed in my WAC number and the website came back with no case information so I called the USCIS 800 number and the level one support was confused as was I so he transferred me to higher level support. The higher level support has access to all the information on your case.

So once at the higher level support the guy was able to see where my case was, and said that everything was ok, and I had nothing to worry about. After that he told that my case left the CSC on 10-13-16 to the NVC.

I posted a more a detail thing last week when it actually happened. I just got lucky because before this happened I was stressing out as when the CSC was going to ship out my case!!

Thanks for the info, but the NVC says they don't even have a record of my case yet and it's been almost five weeks. Tracking it through DHL will do no good since NVC says they haven't even gotten it yet. I even called the embassy to see if maybe there was some kind of glitch and they have it, but I was told they didn't.

Coincidence?

Yesterday I faxed a copy of my NOA2 over to the NVC so that one of the reps can look into it. I faxed it over around lunch time to her. Later that evening (around 10 pm et) I called the NVC and guess what? They had my case and I received my case number from NVC.

So, at least this part is completed.

I plan on calling again this afternoon. Assuming they dont' have my case how did you convince the lady to look into the case further for you. I'd appreciate any tips you can give for my upcoming call this afternoon. Thanks!
