Dems aren't responsible for the hurricane. Republicans must have angered God. That's why he's sending it.

Romney throws red meat to the birthers and God pushes ISAAC east some more. Yesterday evening, the forecast had the storm further out in the Gulf running towards the Mississippi coast. Mitt feeds the birthers and the path of ISAAC changes. God is watching, Mitt.

The last hurricane that hit Florida's west coast was Charlie in 2004. I moved down here in 2006 and there hasn't been a hurricane doing much of any damage around here since

Wilma hit us on the west coast in 2005. We took it straight on down here, just a bit south of you. Fair amount of damage and no electricity for a week. I've been here over 25 years and Wilma was our first direct hit. Charlie and a few others were too close. Remember that any storm off our coast will be as bad if not worse than one that goes over or to our west. Right front quadrant is where the worst part of the storm is.

People always seem to forget that. That's how we (MS) got so messed up from Katrina, we were on the west of the storm.

maybe my geography needs a bit of work, but as katrina hit southeast Louisiana, MS would be to the east of the storm....
