Dumb question.

On the information section on the Montreal Embassy website, it has the forms that are needed to be sent in to them for the response to Packet 3.

However, it also lists that these documents need to be brought to the interview. I am so confused.

If we send them with packet 3, do they also need to be brought to the interview or will they have them there already?

Any other information that I should know before I send packet 3?

08-02-2013: Received Mail with Interview Date!

09-03-2013: Interview in Detroit, Michigan (APPROVED!)

09-04-2013: EAD/AP Approved! (Even though it no longer matters because GC was approved the day before)

09-09-2013: Green Card mailed out via USPS 2-Day Air

09-11-2013: Received 2 Year Conditional Green Card in the Mail

I know when I sent in my packet 3 to Montreal I sent them in as well as I kept copies to take with me just in case the consulate lost them. When I had my interview they never asked for them but I had them with me just in case. I also had extra passport photo's with me as well. I just wanted to be well prepared for anything that could have possibly went wrong at the Consulate.

Send everything the packet 3 list says you need to send in and just print off an extra copy for your records. We took a bunch of extra copies of documents in case they lost one. As Smiley said, we wanted to be prepared as well! You'll be fine! Good luck! :)

It's a good idea to bring copies with you to the interview. Montreal is supposed to have the original packet 3 you sent in but you never know if something will get lost. I just printed off two copies of packet 3 when I filled it out and kept one. They didn't need the extra copies at my interview, though. It's just a precaution.
