Same here, got NOA2 last Aug 17 and just today received the hard copy! Now once we've assigned a MNL # could we pay the fee and schedule for an interview? Or do we wait for the packet from MNL Consulate to get to my fiance? Good luck to us! :)

We did not wait for the packet. When I called the Embassy in Manila, I was told that they already received our application and that I can go ahead and do the next step (pay and schedule for an interview and submit my self to a medical examination at least a week before my interview date.), so I went to BPI, paid the interview fee and called the Embassy for an interview date. :)

...I have not received the packet until now  but I emailed the Embassy and this was their reply..

Thank you for writing to US Visa Service Desk.

I got my MNL # just today, 6 days after our NOA2! The nice lady told me that it just got in and just got scanned. They'll send me a notification once it's ready to be send out to the consulate. Should I still wait for that IID # they're talking about?
