Gosh I am so confused on a lot of things! I was looking at the paperwork my husband will need to adjust his status and etc and was really wondering what needs to be done and what can wait. I noticed all the prices of the paperwork and was totally mind boggled on what in the world am I going to do.... Anyway to cut a long story short I was told by someone or i have seen somewhere online (cant remember exactly were) that we can file the I485 and I765 after we are in America. But does anyone know if my husband needs these documents to travel? What about the I131? when will we have to get this? wow its all so confusing cuse the embassy definitely didnt tell me we needed this! We are filing here in Nairobi btw.

Well, technically she should be using this guide since the DCF process is a little different from a regular I-130 filing: DCF guide

Didn't see DCF by their avatar... then after you pointed it out, I caught the very last sentence.good.gif
