The method of sending your package

Hello guys,

How do you send the package to the Chicago lock box? Do you send by normail mail, certified mail, or express mail? Which one is the best method? Thank you

I can't remember what they call it but it was the one where it takes 2-3 business days to get there and we sent it via USPS ... Make sure you pick the option that gives you a tracking number so you know for sure that Chicago received it ...

We sent ours by USPS overnight with reciept so we would know when they got it....

This would be called I believe "priority" mail with delivery confirmation

Yes, and don't use the option where they have to sign to receive it...b/c I did that(sending I-129F to Texas), and they tried to deliver it on a Friday, and no one was there to sign for it b/c it was a PO box...so, the weekend passed and Monday was Labor Day...so, they didn't get it until that Tuesday. So, my unprofessional, based on impatience advice would be to not use the "sign for it" option. Best wishes!!

I sent it with USPS express overnight with return receipt. I track-it online and they got it the next day and I knew who sign for it, at what time and everything else. I have done this with the K-1 visa application package, the AOS package and the RFE.

That is the "Domestic Return Receipt" PS Form 3811. This is what I had also and you can see the signature online as well.

I know this form well because I am a C.P.A. and I tell everyone when you send your tax returns you should do a return receipt.

Priority with delivery confirmation! It usually gets it there in the same time as overnight, and for less, if you're not an early bird.

(PO usually doesn't guarentee "overnight" if y ou go after noon, so "overnight" will get it there at 9 AM the day after next, same as priority).
