So ive filed the petition for my japanese husband,

Got an nvc case number, just paid the aos and iv bills.

Now my question is...

Im getting my sister to co-sponsor my husband.

Im currently unemployed but my sister meets the poverty guideline.

It will joint sponsorship by me and my sister, is that right?

Even though i have no income?

My sister has tax return from the last three years, and letter of employment plus paystubs.

I, on the other hand have lived overseas ever since I was born (I hold only US citizenship/nationality)

so I had never filed my foreign earned income.

I just filed my 2011 tax return so hopefully they will process it...soon...

Should I wait till I get the tax transcript? Even though my income does not support my husband

The spouse is always the primary sponsor, regardless of income.

Your sister is the joint sponsor.

You should obtain the tax transcript from the IRS for your most recent return (once it is accepted and processed by the IRS).
