Hi guys,

Anybody here knows what to do after doing all the measures to help with the visa application. It's been 11 months now since our case was transferred to VSC and heard nothing from then on. We are waiting for NOA2 and nobody knows if it will arrive or not. We had asked help from anyone who could possibly help like Congressman, Senator and 3 weeks ago the Ombudsman, but still heard nothing from them but "still processing". It's understandable to wait and hang on if we are still on our 5th, 6th, 7th month but my goodness it's way beyond processing time. What can we do then?..

thanks

I-130 Submitted ---- 09/16/2011

NOA 1 ---- 09/21/2011

I-130 Approved ------ 04/30/2013

NVC Case Number -- 05/14/2013

Medical Exam ------ 05/28/2013

Case Complete ------- 08/06/2013

Interview -------- 09/09/2013

Visa Arrived ---------- 10/17/2013

POE SFO ------------- 10/21/2013

Delays maybe inevitable, but misery is optional!

The average processing time for I129 and I130 petitions from VSC is from 5 months to 6 months. That means that most forms submitted to them takes that much time to process and resolved. Yours being 11 months is simply outrageous. Write them a formal letter, but call them first as it is more instantaenous than a letter. I am sure that you have your priority date from your NOA1. Call their attention and send a copy of your letter to your congressman.

You must have had an RFE or lost RFE int he mail that they might have sent to you, and of course if that was lost in-between someplace, that's the reason why you have not had any NOA2. Have you checked your status in the internet? Check this web site for your status if you still don't know this: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

We are checking everyday of our status and it is still "Initial Review"..We did everything from calling to USCIS to ask about it. Went to Congressman's office and even Senator's office but still no good news about it. Two weeks ago, my husband wrote a letter to the Ombudsman and right now we are still waiting for the outcome..
