I am skirting TOS is what I'm doing.

Well... if posting articles criticizing a government makes one an "extremist," then have a look in the mirror.

Generally speaking, one must be willing to forgive in order to move forward in a constructive manner.

Both sides. Not just your side. Are you willing to forgive? Or will you be happy with nothing less than complete rollback of everything Israel has done wrong?

I had read a paper written by David Amiran. Clearly he was Jewish, but also respected in the field of Geography.

The draining of the wetlands was not such a success story, and did a lot of lasting damage to the environment and to wildlife. I have another article but have to hunt it down for you, in the meantime, this one explains how it went with the project to drain the Hula Valley:

Well, you don't go to a negotiation and present your fallback position. Both sides put all their demands on the table, and then to begin to assemble a working compromise. Both the Palestinians and the Israeli hardliners seem to have the first part down, but don't know how to accept the second part. It is not like they don't come to the same conclusion every time they actually sit down together.

Again, what are you talking about ? (You can search my comments about "2-state solution" if you need a hint.)

Their extremists won't allow it.

Your tone speaks volumes. You don't come across as someone who will settle for anything less than another bloodbath.

No doubt. But they did change an existing ecosystem for their use as farmland...going back to the initial post.

You probably believe Israelis made the desert bloom and invented the Jaffa orange and hummus and felafel, etc. etc...

No, but they created Comverse and Checkpoint Software and Teva Pharmaceuticals and hundreds of high-tech companies. Or did they steal that from a Palestinian hummus cart?

If you can quote me saying or insinuating anything of the sort, you are certainly invited to do so. Otherwise, your accusations and insinuations are simply unsubstantiated ad hominem based on your personal discomfort with the idea of Palestinians having full rights as citizens in their own land. (I might pule about your comments being "deeply offensive" and demand you remove them, but obviously such assessments would only apply to buying bus ads.)

In dialog, tone is as important as content. If you understood anything about how normal human beings operate, you'd understand that.

Comverse lol - now there's something Americans should really be rejoicing over.

Let's see... you've now insinuated that I'm an extremist, I want a "bloodbath" and I'm abnormal. You're trying really hard to get this thread locked, aren't you ?

Back to topic, Boy Wonder :)

That's a bit of stretch isn't it? Suggesting that both sides need to try to put aside the past to move on doesn't imply any 'personal discomfort'.

You do seem to be twisting a neutral argument into something it isn't.

The truth is the truth - whether it hurts your ears or not. Anyone could have done the same (or probably better) with all that free stuff (not to mention the billions in free money from the U.S.)

This sentence is very telling - it nullifies and trivializes an entire nation and their accomplishments.
