So if you don't want a homeless person sleeping in your bed, that means that you should advocate building a wall to keep the Mexicans out? Aren't we going a little bit overboard with this analogy?

fwiw, I don't believe in building a wall....but i do believe in protecting those who are in danger of losing their jobs to illegals.

PH made the statement that (s)he wouldn't mind if ppl were playing in her yard...that she would try to find out the reason they were playing there. I took the analogy one step further....what if they were in your house using your stuff?

I am all for charity & helping others, but for the sake of my family's safety, I sure as hell am gonna lock my doors and you can better believe that if i came home to someone eating out of my fridge, I'd be all 'erm, gtf out of my house' not all 'hey there's a loaf of whole wheat in the cabinet'
